- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There are many ways of pricing a job out. I have been doing this for so long that after looking at a job i can give a price in a few minutes. there are ways of pricing by square footage and other measurements but i would rather not give any trade secrets away. It took years of gaining the knowledge.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet with the customer and asses the job. I bring a photo album of past jobs and color charts. Then go over job in great detail writing everything down. Answer all questions they might have.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Being a true painter is something you either have or you don't. cutting a straight line is something that comes easy to me. I have taken classes years ago with faux finishing's. Everything else has been self taught. I've worked in commercial and residential. I was also a union painter for over 10 yrs.
