Ted was extremely professional, efficient and tidy. We asked him to mount a TV, a corresponding floating shelf and install a new wall plate in order to conceal the wires behind the wall. He was able to accomplish all of this in a very efficient amount of time and was willing to teach me a few tricks as he went along. Ted encountered an irregular bean behind the drywall, restricting the ability to pass the HDMI cable through the wall. Most people would have stopped at this point but Ted was actually able to enlarge the current hole (inside in the wall!!) in order for the HDMI cable to pass through. We were happy with the final result and would recommend Ted for any similar projects.

I supplied Ted with a hard task of mounting my TV on the wall in a building built awhile ago. The wall was a mix of concrete/cement and was challenging to get through. Ted was extremely diligent eventhhough drilling the holes takes much longer than your regular dry wall. He kept the wholes steady to as it would be easy to make them bigger since the mix was so hard to get through. My TV is older and very heavy and I am confident it isn't going anywhere. Ted was extremely professional, right on time and gave me an affordable price. He cleaned up after the job to which I was expecting to do. I would highly recommend Ted for another task and especially if you're interested in mounting a TV. You will be thoroughly impressed and satisfied.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rates are $300 for the first 2 hours of labor, or portion thereof, then $75 for each additional 30 minutes, or portion thereafter. While travel, tolls, parking is not billed, parts acquisition time is.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
MA LIC. HIC.#186427 I've been a Home Improvement Contractor, Realtor and property development / manager for 25+ years. Pretty much everything Real Estate, construction and home services related. If I can't get it done, I can help you find someone who can. I'm a clean, professional & reliable contractor with a multitude of mechanical talents. If I commit to a job, you'll be certain, it will be done in a timely manner. My rates may seem higher, but you do get what you pay for.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I recently retired from Real Estate sales and development. I'm now fueling my new found passion for fitness, by building an online health & fitness coaching business. I love helping people learn to alter their lifestyles so they can live healthier, more fulfilling lives. This includes keeping up with the health of their home. I'm more than happy to teach people during a job, so that they can maintain their home themselves in the future. While building my new business, I continue to enjoy helping people with home services related jobs. It's a great way for me to fill temporary income gaps while I build a new business. ;-)
