Mark and Chris came on a Friday and completed the job in one day. The job included wiping down, mopping and hepa-vacuuming the entire basement. They used air scrubbers to clean the air and they sealed off the basement from the rest of the house to prevent cross contamination. The product they use to fog is called Oceanic. Most products just encapsulate the mold spore, so even though it's dead, it can still be an irritant. Oceanic is an Enzyme that actually crushes it so it is no longer an irritant. I can't say enough about Mark and Chris. They were very professional, very knowledgeable and very nice people. I was not here while they were doing the work, but they were very careful not to let the cats or the dog out. They did the work they said they would do and they left the basement cleaner than what they started with. My test results show that they got rid of the mold and they guarantee it for 2 years. Description of work: Our basement leaked and we had very high mold counts in the basement. I had four companies come out and talked to many others on the phone to get as much information as I could on mold remediation. I chose Green Home Solutions for several reasons. The main reason is the product they use. After researching many different protocols that all of the different companies use, I found theirs to be not only non-toxic, but also the most effective. The second reason I chose them was because of the owners, Mark and Chris. They were very knowledgeable about the product and took all the time I needed to explain everything to me. They were very friendly and genuinely seemed to care about my problem. They were easy to contact and always returned calls promptly. They were very accommodating to fit me in when it was most convenient for me. They showed up when they said they would, the work they did exceeded my expectations and when they finished the job, they followed up with me to make sure I was satisfied. Sherry
