FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
One-on-one cooking lessons are $200, stretching up to 3 hours - all hands-on. Ingredients are either purchased by the student, or jointly, in which case I instruct on the basics of shopping for healthier ingredients for additional $50. Group lessons are $300, stretching up to 4 hours. As a professional, I carry an assortment of cooking tools, but as a general rule it is strongly recommended that students have their own.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A brief telephone interview that allows both parties involved to ask all the pertinent questions. Provided all goes well, on we go into the cooking part. And that's where the juice is!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Professional Chef's Diploma earned at the Natural Gourmet Institute for Food and Health; Culinary Institute of America Professional Certification Course.
