Jason is a fantastic songwriter. Now you may read that statement and assume it to be biased seeing as I'm his brother and perhaps there is some truth to that... HOWEVER, as his brother I would also argue that I have the privilege of knowing him better than most. In that regard I am a credible source when I say he is a fantastic songwriter because he learned how to write songs from listening to some of the best songwriters in musical history (Lennon, Mccartney and Dylan to name but a few). He is a fantastic songwriter because he has a wealth of profound and deeply moving life experience to write about. He is a fantastic songwriter because he has been writing songs for well over a decade, which has led him to win prestigious honors such as the Pat Pattison award for songwriting excellence. On top of that he is a very humble, kind, funny, responsive, articulate, aware and insightful human being; characteristics that lend themselves to making you a better songwriter/musician as well as effortlessly help you to grow as a person. I wax lyrical about him because he is THAT good and I guarantee that you won't be disappointed... but don't take my word for it... find out for yourself ;).
