- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The rate is $60/hour for any age or levels. However if you desire a different length of lesson, the price will follow. For example, for 45 minutes of piano lesson, the rate will be $45. I'm also willing to travel to you for an extra fee.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually like to talk about what the student wants to achieve, if it is the first time they have a piano lesson. On the other hand, if they have some experience in playing piano prior to the lesson, I will go over the things that they have worked on or to play the last piece that they were working on. From there I will be able to assess and give materials that suits them best.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been playing piano since the age of 4 and I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music with double major on Piano Performance and Jazz Composition. I was able to gain a lot of knowledge from great teachers while I studied there. Besides that I have been playing, gigging and recording around NYC and Boston area and have collaborated with a lot of musicians and featured on different albums/projects.
