French With Frances
Introduction: I am an American with an excellent French accent. I picked up the language over summer vacations in France as a child, and later lived in Paris for 4 years of University. I am very patient and believe in conversation as the first step to learning a language--even before grammar. After all, we learn languages to speak them!
I love to incorporate music as well. Learning lyrics to songs is a wonderful way to learn a new language.
I love meeting new people, and this work connects me to students of all ages. Helping someone learn a new language opens their mind up to a new culture.

I've been working with Frances since January and can't believe how much I've already learned. I've always wanted to learn french, but was nervous to take the plunge, and didn't want to do a group class. She really focuses on conversation, which was important for me too, and I went to Paris in May and couldn't believe that I could actually speak with people!
