- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, but pricing does fluctuate. It all comes down to the provided service/services requested by the customer. Some customers are just looking to move a few things.Some customers are looking for a complete full service move.That includes us packing items in boxes load/unload/unpack. Another customer might want all there belongings packed professionally in boxes only. It just depends on the customers needs. And E.M.S is here to provide that.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Always with a new customer. I like to personal speak with them and figure out there needs. And make sure the services that E.M.S provides is appropriate for the customers relocation. If the services of E.M.S are agreed. Then pending on the involvement and size of move. We always try to schedule a visual survey prior to move. This allows the most accurate pricing for the customer. And allows us to address any concerns or special attention needed to move customers belongings.Along with explaining key paperwork & insurance options.This process brings efficiency on requested move date.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a 3rd generation to this unique business. I personally have over 16 years in the relocation business. I was a Owner Operator for almost my duration,before starting E.M.S. I traveled nationwide to service moves for large corporations & there employees. (90%) Turn Key Moves. Packing,Loading,Crateing,Unloading,Unpacking.Spending sometimes a week + with one customer, start to finish. I moved countless military members along with a few celebrity's and a couple sports icons.I have managed/co-managed large commercial property moves. Office personnel,cubical modifications, delivery and setup of Steelcase products.
