Mike is absolutely one of the best personal trainers that I have worked with over the years. I interviewed several trainers but knew as soon as I met Mike and we had our trial session that he was the trainer for me. As both a registered dietitian and personal trainer, his total diet/fitness regimen has helped me get into the best shape of my life. I have dropped over 15 pounds in less than 4 months while putting on more defined muscle tone. My energy level is at an all-time high and my overall body fat is down by over 5%. Beyond the measurable results, Mike is a joy to be around. He is a true professional but we are able to laugh and enjoy ourselves during our training sessions. I regularly get texts from Mike checking in on how things are going and to remind me to eat more fruits and veggies!! He is genuinely invested in his clients' success above and beyond the workouts. I cannot recommend Mike highly enough as a personal trainer. If you put in the work, Mike will help you to achieve amazing results. You will not be disappointed!!Mar 15, 2018

You are rocking Franklin. Keep it up, man. Consistency, injury prevention and you'll continue with the amazing progress!
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? No hidden fees or start up costs. My per-hour quote may actually cover 60 to 90 minutes if we meet for nutrition. I pride myself on taking time to get to know my clients as well as their goals, obstacles and preferences. I include meal plans, snack lists, tools, educational materials, etc. that I have invested a great deal of time and effort creating. These are provided at no extra cost. The best value, hands down- You are getting a personal trainer and registered dietitian. My training sessions are 55 minutes long to allow about 5 minutes for set up. I've worked at commercial gyms and know how expensive training can add up to be. The gyms have incredible overhead costs and pass that cost on to consumers, while trainers get a sliver. I travel to my clients and work out of my home to keep costs affordable for everyone.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Discuss goals, motivation, obstacles, etc. Help clients realize what they want to do and how to achieve it vs. just telling them what to do. Carryout a thorough medical and fitness assessment, including optional body fat and circumference measurements to track progress. I encourage and assist with progress pictures. Use appropriate mix of cardio and strength when designing program to achieve client goals. Ensure safe and enjoyable introduction to exercises designed to achieve goals, prevent injury and avoid mental and physical burnout. Review heart rate and exercise data to insure sessions continuously get the client the results they want.
