Original agreement was for pressure washing and painting/staining a small building and deck,installing gutters on the front of the building and repair of some rotten fascia on the rear of the building. Owner estimated 4 days work and we agreed upon a price. On day 1 the owner shows up late with his helper who was his carpenter and began the project. As the job progressed into day 2 I realized that because they were being paid by the hour, that things were being strung out. The 4 day job could have been completed in 3 days basically. The carpenter spent most of his time assisting the owner, yet to my surprise, I was charged an additional 10 hours labor for the carpenter at $35hr. for what I thought was in my original quote from the owner. Some additional repairs did occur but it was not 10 hrs of labor and I was not aware of paying an additional person from the beginning. Major miscommunication!!! The work was good but the surprise charges at the end were totally unexpected.

it was a 4 day job and I'm sorry but wee discussed the extra carpentry that needed done you purchased the extra supplies for the extra work but wasent aware of it costing more labor come on Micheal you know that not right !
