- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do not charge for estimates within 1hour of our location in Burlington CT. Outside of that, you are only charged for travel expense. We do give a discount for referals, varrying in percentage based on the type of job.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we will discuss your issues or project goals over the phone to determine what we will need to do a proper inspection. During the first phone call we will arrange a date for the estimate and inspection to determine what options you may have. After meeting with you and evaluating the work needed we will decide on a final list of tasks to be completed. After the scope of the work is decided on with you, I will fill out my proposal for those tasks needing to be completed. When you have my proposal, when/if you accept, we can decide on a date to start the work, as well as estimate a likely end date.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
On top of achieving my own certifications in relining chimneys. I have trained under highly skilled and talented in the business men who have imparted thier knowledge onto me over the past 5 years. One of them being my own father, whome I saw doing this work since I could remember.
