- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
If it is a time sensitive project and the project extends longer than than expected and doesn’t fall within the no fault list, the contractor ,I will drop the 7 % of the total job cost that would have normally been added to the bid that was agreed upon. This list includes but is not limited to; weather , materials deliveries, delay in draws from the customer, ect. The 7 % mark up previously mentioned is for any equipment that may become damaged during the project for cost in repairing or replacing the tool/tools. If no damages happen the 7 % is still collected goes to bigger tool that have or will break on future projects.

Get a good feel on where the client is in the project and how they picture the end result to be
- What types of customers have you worked with?
If your looking for someone to come in and rush through the job with no quality at mind I’m probably not your guy , with that being said I typically work with higher end customers the appreciate craftsmanship rather than the get-r-done mentality some contractors have
