FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was trained and brought into the industry by one of the oldest and most trusted families in the Minnesota Fence industry, the Quinn's. His family has ran many of the major companies in the area for 70+ years and still does.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Check the validity of the person that's going to be installing your enclosure. Ask for industry references, INSURANCE CERTIFICATES, applicable licenses, bonds etc.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
ITS ALL ABOUT THE MATERIALS. There are a lot of companies in the twin cities that give quotes for half of what they should be, and do you know why they're so much cheaper and usually faster starting your project? Because they build you a Fence using low grade treated lumber from home depot or Menard's, don't follow the proper excavation procedures, and will be impossible to locate in 12 months when all your post and pickets are warped and falling apart. We use nothing but Western red cedar for all of our wooden privacy fences which stand up to the harsh conditions of Minnesota much better then any treated lumber.
