Introduction: My program is not a “one size fits all” program. It is tailored specifically to meet each individual’s needs. We will discuss your goals, timeline, and motivation for losing weight, gaining muscle, and moving better. I will assess your movement capability. I will help you come up with a game plan to achieve your goals. After two to four weeks, depending on the time you commit to training, I will make changes to the weight, the exercise, or modify the program so you can keep growing.
Program Options:
· Nutrition-based Weight Loss or Weight Gain- Eating with a goal requires new habits and education for long term success. You will learn how to eat in a way that gives you more energy and supports your weight loss or weight gain. The Precision Nutrition program will help you understand and apply habits that will last for a lifetime.
· Proper breathing- Breathing is a fundamental component to exercise, and your overall well-being. I help you become reacquainted with your breath, using deep diaphragmatic breaths and show you how to power breathe during exercise.
· Core development- It is essential for optimal flexibility and overall coordination of the upper and lower body. I use a mix of yoga, pilates, and functional strength exercises in order to help you stimulate proper core activation.
· Functional Patterns- I use a variety of exercise techniques to help you with your posture, coordination, and to help you find your strength. Techniques include pushing, pulling, single leg training, squatting, deadlifting, and jumping.
· Self-defense- Kicking, punching and the footwork that goes with self-defense and combat training is fun and can help take inches off your waist. You will be equipped with useful and powerful techniques that give you confidence and assurance for dangerous situations.
· Golf fitness- Mobility, stability, and flexibility are what golfers need to be successful for the lifetime of play. After using specific golf assessments, you will take the journey to becoming more flexible, mobile, and stable through your training program.
Personal training depends so much on the individual and their goals. I really enjoy creating a program with the client’s goals/desires and helping the client meet those goals within a realistic time frame.
