FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When starting a project with a new customer, I like to first meet and discuss conceptual ideas and visualize the aesthetic for the illustration(s). I then do a number of trial sketches to give an idea of what the final product will look like. If the customer is not satisfied I offer a number of redo's to meet their image of what they want the product to look like. Please note I will only do redo's in this initial sketch phase. Once a sketch is approved to become a final draft it cannot be redone without an additional cost. When the final draft is finished customer will receive the hard copy and a digital copy if requested.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started illustrating by making friends and family personalized Birthday and Thank you cards.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked for customers who want illustrations for educational purposes such as classroom posters, for musicians needing T-shirt art, and for those who want a personalized illustration to serve as either a gift or their own personal use.
