FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price according to need and complexity of each case. It is not fair to price all cases the same when I may be able to give simple advice to correct an issue and that doesn't warrant a 'minimum fee'. I'd rather people enjoy their companions than worry about cost.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to speak at length with new customers and get a feeling for what issues are affecting the pets and their owners. I like to establish what may have led to any problem issues, and that the pets have been seen up to date by a qualified veterinarian, and that any health problems have been explored. Then we can make an action plan and apply corrective techniques to any problem behaviours or plan a training strategy. I want YOU to be involved in training your dog, not expect a trained dog 'in a box' at the end of the process. By understanding more of the training, you'll have a better relationship with your dog.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 25 years involvement with training and breeding dogs, from a pet owner right up to training and deploying dogs in an operational law enforcement role.
