FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A typical session is a 35-45 min shoot and 15- 20 edited images. This includes consultation, wardrobe changes during session if desired, image selection and editing. I have an assistant that has a background in photo styling, hair and makeup that can help with questions regarding that during consult as well as assisting us during the shoot. If the project is a special event or doesn't fall within these parameters, we will discuss during consultation.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will start with an initial phone consultation to determine location, duration, etc. We will also come to a more detailed agreement on the project, expectations, quote for price and answer any other questions you may have. Post shoot, I can usually offer a 10 day on the edited digital images. I can also assist with printing and fabrication in a number of other mediums if desired (i.e. canvas, metal prints).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As far as photography is concerned, I am 100% self taught, from composition to photo editing. I am a civil engineer by day and just have a knack for figuring things out. I have been taking pictures since I was a kid. I know this may make me a wild card in some people's mind's but I'd like to think my work speaks for itself. I can't tell you how many hundreds (maybe thousands) of hours I've spent on my "education" in the last 15 years but it's been a big investment. Worth every hour and every penny!
