FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For a stand-alone 1-time session I charge $170 for an (approximate) hour. When clients purchase a package of sessions of 6-24 (which is my recommendation), the price reduces to be equivalent to $150/session, and if packages are paid up front and in full, I take a % off. Up to date pricing can be located on the "Programs" portion of my website. I also encourage prospective clients to sign up on my website (top right hand corner) to receive my blog/newsletters, as I provide free resources from time to time, and offer specials and contests through my blog. All sessions can be recorded (upon request) and I always send comprehensive notes following sessions, as well as offer limited support via email between sessions. Packages also include 1-2 15-minute "E-Sessions" for clients in crisis-mode.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always encourage prospective clients to set up a virtual complimentary consultation (which can be done by going to my website and clicking "Get Started Now"). During the consultation I like to hear why my clients are seeking support, and what they'd like to get from the Coaching relationship, as well as how they see my role as their Coach. Assuming we're a good fit and the client would like to move forward with Coaching, we determine what package (how many sessions) they'd like, I send them an invoice, and upon payment they receive a scheduling link and code, and a packet of agreements and pre-work. I require payment up front to ensure that we are both committed to the process, and to save me from "collections" - yuck! :) I work with most clients virtually (via phone or Skype), and will call them at the time of their scheduled appointments. Should a client be local and prefer to meet in-person, I can come to their place of business which may incur a slightly higher fee. I encourage clients to have sessions every 1-2 weeks, with no more than 1 month between coaching sessions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I dabble in many types of Coaching: General Life Coaching, Corporate/Executive Coaching, Business/Entrepreneurial Coaching, Leadership Coaching, Relationship Coaching and Organization/Prioritization Coaching. Underlying all of this, most of my clients work through some common themes: Perfectionism. People-Pleasing. Overwhelm. Stress. Confidence. Communication Frustrations. With 15 years of experience as a Director of Operations in a Corporate Health Care Setting, I oversaw 13 businesses, managed a portfolio including more than 10M annual net profit and more than 1000 employees, and was responsible for everything ranging from marketing, strategic planning and HR, to customer relations issues, liability and worker's comp. I have an incredibly multi-faceted background, which allows me to work in all of these various niches. I also went through Public Speaking Training and presented at various conferences, and serve on various not-for-profit BODs. Through all of those experiences, what I learned was that I am at my best when I am helping others to achieve theirs. That's how I arrived to coaching. Over the past two years I have gone through two separate coaching programs and obtained Certification in each: Martha Beck Certified Life Coach. Certified Equus Coach through the Koelle Institute.
