"CHERYL KUGLER IS MY GO TO RESOURCE FOR ANYTHING CREATIVE. SHE HAS A KEEN EYE FOR LAYOUT, COLOR AND STYLE, WHETHER ITS FOR ILLUSTRATION, PHOTOGRAPHY OR DECORATIVE PAINTING. SHE'S A POWERHOUSE OF NEW IDEAS, NEW ANGLES...NEW WAYS OF THINKING ABOUT STANDARD PROJECTS. Her illustration of our "Beautiful Madison" is a fabulous memorial to our loving Great Pyrenees. It captures her fun-loving personality as well as her regal side. We are thrilled to have it on our coffee mugs, note cards, return address labels, tote bags and, believe it or not, sneakers. Always makes me smile! She did the same great job on "Jake", my parents little black Golden Doodle. I love how she can take a photo and compose a scene that fits his personality. It touched their hearts and made the perfect gift for people we didn't know what to buy for. . CHERYL'S ILLUSTRATIONS ARE FILLED WITH THE PERSONALITY OF THE SUBJECT. PLUS, SHE WORKS WITH YOU TO INCLUDE FAVORITE BACKGROUND OBJECTS WITH PERSONAL MEANING. IT'S NEVER COOKIE-CUTTER WITH CHERYL. THE FINAL PRODUCT IS TAILORED TO MY INDIVIDUAL STYLE AND REFLECTS MY TASTE."

Cheryl crafted a beautiful illustration of our playful pup. Her attention to detail, brought the image to life and the spunky exuberance that makes Shelby so special to us shines through. I reached out to Cheryl to create a family Christmas card after seeing her impressive collection of pet illustrations. She requested and reviewed several photos of Shelby following a brief meeting. She worked through a few sketches, selecting the final image and sharing it with me in rough creative form to confirm the structure and concept fit my expectations. When Cheryl shared with me the final image, I was thrilled with the playful way she presented Shelby greeting Santa. The color and composition of the illustration were bright and cheerful. Shebly’s shape, color and most importantly, personality brightened our holiday greetings that year. It was truly a joy to see her likeness in such creative and unique illustration.

We commissioned Cheryl to paint to seasonal murals. One of dogwood blossoms and the other of delphinium. They are both incredibly lifelike. Cheryl took great care in getting both pieces "just right" for us.

Working with Cheryl is always great! I can give her a general idea of my layout and then she'll give me exactly what's needed to make it special. She'll read into the heart of the story she's illustrating and give the little girls something to connect with. Her illustrations are colorful and full of expression.
