FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically a Skype or Google Hangouts call will be best to get to know each other. Those are usually after 6 PM weekdays or on the weekend. I'd like to get as much information as possible, like thoughts on materials, dimensions, past experience/pinch points with the part. We'll set a deadline and talk about manufacturing options.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a BS in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University. Shortly after graduating I started working with surfacing, plastics, and sheet metal for Caterpillar. I moved on to Newell Brands, formerly Newell Rubbermaid, and was trained in advanced surfacing techniques. I currently hold a position at a product design consulting firm in the Tech hub of Raleigh, NC.
