FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Communication is key for planning an event with an outside vendor, so we like to keep an open line during the preliminary planning phase. This can be email, Skype, phone call, carrier pigeon, even Facebook message, whatever is easiest for you. Once we get closer to the event and you are ready, we can meet in person to solidify the details and fine tune our playlist. We realize there can be a lot to think about when planning an event so it is our goal to make the process as easy and relaxing as it can be by offering advice and troubleshooting as well as easy-to-use planning checklists (because who doesn't like a good checklist).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Apart from some DJ'ing workshops on the hard skills of mixing music, there are not too many formalized modes of education within this field. While the DJ's at Anderson Pro Audio have attended workshops and have been involved with DJ'ing/music communities, most of us have learned the art and trade through mentor-ships and practice. Most of our DJ's bring their own unique and applicable skills to the table as well, from ropes course and team building facilitation to performance acapella singing.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We have worked a whole slew of different events: indoor and outdoor weddings, dinner parties, birthdays, backyard parties, children's parties, high school and middle school dances, clubs, corporate parties, and more.. If you have a particular type of event that we have not worked before, we'll give you a discount as a thanks for expanding our horizons.
