Introduction: JAS Editing and Tutoring Services provides skills from an English teacher with over 25 years of experience with a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. My primary focus is in editing/proofreading, critical reading and AP writing, and ACT prep (English and Reading). I also have experience as an occasional copy editor for a small business. I'm flexible although my hourly rate is between $35-40. I am willing to work with the customer to negotiate.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
English teacher for 25 years, working with AP and upper level high school students. Worked part time as a copy editor for a small advertising agency.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I am a full time teacher, so this is side work--mainly during the summer. I'm just starting out and look forward to building my experience and opportunities for reviewers.
