FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meeting a new customer for the first time always begins at their home. Getting an idea of their style choices made in the past and what they hope to do for their new space is key to discovering their personal style. The other component equally important is discussing their financial budget for the new space. Once I know these factors... I can incorporate new purchases and suggest new ideas that work within these perimeters.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A graduate of Moore College of Art and Design. Twenty-some years working in architectural and interior design firms gathering experience in great design, project management and budget considerations. Using my commercial background experience to shift my interest to residential design; where my attention to detail and construction documentation provides great design and excellent design intent drawings for contractors to bid out accordingly. Adding experience with 20/20 rendering and photoshop progams provides my client with ample visual support to make them confident in their design decisions.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Most important would be financial budget: What do they want to spend to create their new space. Next would be how long do they plan on staying there... and Do they experience great shifts in their personal style as they get older? and how fast do they want their space completed? Lastly... Would be what do they expect from their designer...Do they want someone as a partner? during the design project or someone who will make the decisions for them once perimeters are set.
