- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Typically, there are two paths for a divorce: Uncontested, which I charge a flat fee, and Contested, where I typically charge hourly. I work will all my clients to come up with a plan that is right for them, including reasonable payment plans.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will explain to you clearly what the process of divorce is. That includes what the law is with regard to all the issues that are unique to your situation and it will be particular to your individual fact circumstances. I will then tell you the procedures of the court if your case is contested. At the end of our meeting, you will feel versed in the law of divorce and you will feel comfortable in handling a conversation with your spouse in regard to how to resolve all the issues and goals you wish to accomplish.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Alex Hairston focuses on your interests, rights and futures. He has extensive experience handling marital and custody disputes, pre-marital agreements, marriage settlement agreements, custody and parenting time issues, domestic violence and abuse issues, and grandparents rights. I also advocate negotiation as an alternative to fighting and depleting resources if both parties are better served and stand to benefit from this option of resolution.
