Introduction: I am an experienced drum instructor in the Mon Valley Area (Charleroi, Pa., approx. 30-45 minutes travel south of Pittsburgh) with 45 years' experience specializing in elementary to advanced students. My instruction includes snare drum to drum set from beginner to advanced. The initial (first) lesson is "free'. This gives the student, parents an opportunity to inspect and tour the studio and equipment used. All lessons are conducted on pro level drums and pads at the studio in Charleroi, Pa.. As former owner/operator of "the Drum Shop" of Charleroi, full time working musician, Pres. of Mon Valley Academy for the Arts, Vice President of Musicians Local #592 and member of all Regional chamber of commerces - all lessons are conducted with complete cooperation with parents, guardians and band directors.

Mark is an extremely talented teacher who was very patient with my son. Because of Mark, my son was far ahead of his peers in not only his playing ability, but also in reading music and all of the skills he needed for concert, jazz and marching band! I would recommend him to anyone of any level! Mark is #1!!

I have seen Mark playing at the Holiday Inn and DeMarcos, in Uniontown, PA and at Cedar Creek Park, in Belle Vernon. Mark is a very talented drummer and adds to any band, any style music. I have seen him play polkas, old standards, jazz and a little blues. Aside from being a great musician, Mark is also a very fine man. His personality is as good as it gets.

Weekly 30 minute lesson $15.00 - 45-60 minute lesson available (1st intro lesson at NO CHARGE)
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First (initial) lesson free so as to inspect studio and introduce teacher. Schedule and pricing determined at this point.

50 yrs. active musical experience, teaching/ performing. Currently full time teaching/ performing. Former owner/operator of "the Drum Shop", Charleroi, Pa. Active member of AF of Musicians, Vice President office of Local 592, President of the Mon Valley Academy for the Arts (Twin Coaches Orchestra Project).
