FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
On criminal and traffic cases I quote a flat fee. You will never pay a dime more than I quote. I do not quote the legal fee on Thumbtack before talking to the potential client. I don't want to be one of those guys that quotes an initial retainer to snag a client, then increases the fee once I find out how difficult the case is.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I get all the facts I can, then quote a fee. If necessary I agree to a payment plan for the client. If hired we execute a fee agreement and then I get to work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in the court system in SC for 20 years. I know the prosecutors and what the police should have in an investigative case.
