Introduction: Hello, my fellow dog lovers!!!! I am an active retired grandmother who’s never met a dog I didn’t love!!! I have Pugs myself, and it used to be very hard for me to leave my dogs, because I’d be stressed out the whole time I was gone. I love my kids, but NOBODY loves my dogs like I do, and would worry entire time I was gone, depending on the kids to care for them. It wasn’t worth it, and got to the point it was easier to stay home. Four years ago, I moved into a community with many great people. My dogs fell in love with one of my neighbors, and when walking them, would actually stop and wait till he looked outside and would come out and pet them. I had found my dog sitter!!!! Even if I’m gone for the day, he stops in and checks on them. And why all of the above? To point out, my neighbor was the kind of dog sitter I’d like to be. Attentive, loving, gives lots of attention, and also keeps my home nice and clean. A dog has feelings like us. I strive to make sure the owners can totally relax while gone, knowing their dogs are in loving hands.
