FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A free 15 minute phone consultation will be provided for serious inquiries. Hourly rates and group rates vary.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to consult with the customer first via phone and see what their needs are. I also like to see if they have any health concerns or physical limitations. When I connect with someone initially, I can get a good sense of what their needs are. Sometimes it's also a good idea to dispel myths from the beginning; you don't have to be flexible or well-balanced to begin the practice of yoga. And for those who think they are not strong enough to do yoga, we are always stronger than we think we are.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a registered yoga teacher and have completed my 200 hour training at Lourdes Medical Center's Institute of Wellness Studies in South Jersey. I also have a Masters of Social Work from West Virginia University (2002) and a background in the medical field, specifically end-of-life care and grief/bereavement.
