I had Miss Ruth plan two of my children's birthday parties and my wedding.
When my son was turning seven, Miss Ruth planned a Scooby Do Mystery Party. From the invitation that she created and mailed to the day of the party everything was so fun. She designed a Mystery Van photo prop. We had a scavenger hunt, zombies, a gypsy and Scobby Snacks. Each parent and over 25 children, dressed like the a Scobby Do characters, did not want the party to end. Each child made a tie dyed shift and my son solved the mystery by removing the villains rubber head. The villains said I would have gotten away with it too if not for you meddling kids.
For my daughters eleventh birthday Miss Ruth did a Wizard of Oz themed party. The whole party was a life size board game. She cowardly lion, witch and wizard were on hand. My daughter was dressed like Dorothy. It was outstanding. We even had an Emerald city cake.
The best event she planned for me was my wedding. It was a Celtic theme. The invitation were handmade. She had an arbor built for the ceremony. She even helped us write our vows and had a special officiant marry us. The food, décor and day was perfect.
