FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Before providing accounting services for new clients, I prefer to have an introductory meeting to gather information about the business and ensure that both parties are comfortable with each other. This meeting is important to ensuring that I understand the scope of services required. After this meeting I work with the client to provide the most efficient way to prepare and maintain accounting systems for their specific needs. This may be as simple as preparing processes and organizational systems that enable a client to manage their own books or full preparation and execution of all accounting activities. The first meeting with a client is for not only for me to get information about your business but for my client to feel comfortable with me. In the meeting I like to learn what the business is in need of the most. If a process is needed in order to make the owner more efficient in preparing their own books or there could be an outsource needed. I have worked with them all. I have an accounting organizational system that I have used over the years that I have been able to implement in many different companies with minor tweaks. Nothing is ever to "big" you just have to start somewhere.
