They wanted to be hired for reoccurring lawn service, so I did. They did okay but not like if you actually hired a lawn service. I had to tell them what needed to be done. So set appt. For today for them to come back out to do the lawn, powerwash deck, and put a ceiling fan in, because they are a handyman service. They didn't show up today and I texted Jacob Sunday and no response. They are young kids so not very responsible.

Hello, my name is Jacob and I am one of the partners in our company. I would like to clear some things up. We set an appointment and we were bouncing around with two different times for us to come by the next week, however, there was a misunderstanding and each of us had different times written down. When I came she told me that I was late and irresponsible, however, I tried to explain that I had written down the wrong time and that we would make up for our mistake. She wouldn't hear any of it and fired us. I hope by reading this you see both sides of the story and that there was just a misunderstanding. Thank you

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually charge 25 dollars a man hour for jobs that I do that for. For the most part, unless the job is a move, or a junk removal, I don't put down a price. I learned that from my dad. Many times the costumer doesn't know what size the project is, so it is easy to over bid or under bid. It's easier to go to the job site and give them a hard estimate there.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet them, and get to know them a little if I can. For the most part, I like being able to have done a good job for them so that they can refer me.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I grew up working with my dad in his business, TOMA Property Management, so I learned the art of the trade from him. I'm still a young man though and am looking to further my education for my business.
