Adam is a great teacher and always helped me to further my learning when I was ready for it. I took lessons from Adam in St. Louis a day one beginner and stayed for over a year and I always looked forward to the next one where he would be waiting to help me with whatever questions I had for him. He knows a lot about music theory and different styles of music and helped me with questions I had from basic music structure to specific techniques I could you in certain songs. Not only that but he was extremely easy to talk to and cool guy that showed me a lot of good music I had never heard of! It's rare to get the opportunity to learn from someone so knowledgeable that can make the information so comfortable. The earliest of players and anyone looking to refine their playing can benefit from Adam.

I was a beginner guitar player and knew only a few basic chords, and I wanted to learn so much more. I decided to get private lessons from Adam and it had been one of the best decisions I have ever made. Under his teaching, I learned so much about musical theory. He really took the time to make sure I understood everything. He's very friendly, through, patient, and you can tell that he really loves what he does. When I played the songs I loved on the guitar, it made me feel so much more appreciative of the music. Through his teaching I gained a new outlook and appreciation for guitar. There are some things that can be self taught, but getting private lessons from Adam made a world's difference for my knowledge and ability to play the guitar.

Adam was the first instructor we hired to teach our 5 year old son guitar. He was very patient and did a great job at keeping him engaged for the entire class. Adam made the effort to learn songs that our son would recognize. It was wonderful to see the look on our son's face when he played a song all by himself.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to learn what sort of playing a new student is interested in and then I develop a lesson plan to work towards their goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's degree in classical guitar as well as many years of experience teaching and performing.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've taught students from as young as five years old to adults in their mid sixties. Stylistically, my teaching has been very diverse. I've taught: classical, blues, jazz, rock, pop, metal, Hawaiian, funk, just about anything.
