I'm far from your average accountant! After 15 years in the world of corporate finance, I decided it was time for a career change. While I enjoyed the subject matter in my previous career, I am much more passionate about helping someone with a great idea, turn it into a profitable business. I've had the opportunity to travel the world and live in several diverse places. Each city and country I've visited have offered me the opportunity to bring back unique experiences and knowledge to my business practice. Dallas, TX, London, England, Mexico City, Mexico and Los Angeles, CA are among my favorites. While at Caterpillar, I was the lead recruiter for the Marketing functional area at the University of Illinois. In this position I did career coaching, guest lecturing and interviewing. I am a proud graduate of the University of Illinois for my undergraduate degree and Bradley University for my MBA. I enjoy taking on a challenge, fixing problems, and maximizing results - plus I love math...which I get from my mother, who is a semi-retired accountant and also part of the CrossHatch team.
