Introduction: Ricky and I introduce the musicality, techniques, and fundamentals of various Kizomba styles. This is a dance originating from Angola which has just recently begun to catch the eyes of many in the states. Our interest and passion has led my partner and I to teaching it to others so we can all share a love for this beautiful dance. We are also available to teach Latin dancing such as salsa, bachata or merengue if you have a desire to learn. We enjoy delving into different cultures because we believe through dance, we can bring a community of different backgrounds together. What to Expect: Teacher to Student (50%)- Enthusiasm to teach, dance, and advance! We love Kizomba, and we want to share that with you. Throughout our classes we will teach proper techniques, musicality, and styling of this genre. We encourage you to stay calm and Kizomba on. Together we will reinforce the fundamentals and enhance our dancing skills. Student to Teacher (50%) - Partake in the Western Mass Kizomba movement. Bask in the ambiance of solidarity and altogether, we will have 100% satisfaction.

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

When it comes to working with a new customer my partner and I ask where they currently lie in terms of familiarity, comfort, knowledge, etc and we work from there. The more we get to know a customer, the more we begin to challenge them. Our job is to teach them this dance, become familiar with it, build enough confidence, and for them to eventually create their own style.
