Introduction: I offer vocal coaching based on three simple practices, as follows: 1. Breath Control/Phrasing 2. Pitch 3. Lyrical Content and Honesty I can't remember not singing...ever...it is my second language. I started as a baby singing the Beatles and soon grew fond of Musical Theater. I went to The Cincinnati School for Creative and Performing Arts in high school and continued on to The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City. The training I received at both schools has instilled the discipline and confidence that sticks with me to this day. Now, I front my own band which I have coined "Garage Soul", and am a studio session singer as well as a backing vocalist. I truly believe that to sing a song and really connect with an audience, you must be able to be honest with the message of the song. Every one's voice is unique. As a vocal coach, I like to work on the student's uniqueness and help them develop their own sound and voice. Just like our voice's are different, so are our life experiences. These experiences are what we share with an audience, whether it be live or in the studio. No one has lived your life, therefor the way you relate to and tell a story will always be yours and only yours. I can't wait to help people find their honest and truthful voice.
