FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing varies depending on the type of case or legal issue. Typically I will charge an hourly fee with an upfront retainer for Family Law cases; whereas, for Estate Planning and Probate we charge a flat fee. We try to keep our prices reasonable because we know the legal process is frustrating, time consuming and sometimes expensive.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For all of our clients we have them fill out an extensive questionnaire so that we can get a better feel for what is going on specifically in their situation - whether it is probate or a divorce we recognize ever situation is different. We also take the time to discuss the pros and cons to the different paths we might be able to take in order to resolve their situation. A "wish list" is also a must have that we ask for early on so that we can make sure we are striving to obtain the outcome you are hoping for!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from Stetson University College of Law in 2008. After graduation I returned to my undergrad Alma Mater to teach Business Law, Marketing, and Management. In 2010, I decided to focus on establishing my legal career full time. I have worked both at the State Attorney's and Public Defender's Office - giving me a well-rounded take on the legal system as well as the opportunity to become a seasoned litigator with over 55 jury and non-jury trials to my name. Also I have advocated for the rights of our Veteran's during my work for a prominent non-profit agency in the Tampa area. Now I have decided to focus on the practice of law full-time helping clients navigate through the confusing legal system. My primary areas are: Family Law; Estate Planning; and Probate.
