Introduction: Freelance Photographer, Ashleigh Slisher, has enjoyed serving South Carolina and beyond for over a decade. She is also a skilled Videographer and Video Editor. Her work has been featured twice in Southern Destinction Magazine and Viewbug.com, an online international photography magazine, named her Photographer of the Month, April 2017. She is known for her friendly, warm, and approachable personality and her maticulous work ethic and perfectionism shows throughout the quality of her work. Although she's very skilled at various genres of photography, Ashleigh's passion lies within LifeStyle Photography where she enjoys documenting life's events and preserving memories that her clients will cherish for years to come. What brings me the greatest satisfaction in my work is getting to use my talent and my childlike imagination to create something that not only meets my clients needs, but surpasses them! My client's satisfaction is incredibly important to me. I enjoy a challenge that allows me to learn something new and keeps my mind young. My passion for photography actually began as a child when my father, a professor at the University of Georgia teaching photography and journalism, bought me a camera for my 6th birthday. He has since passed down his knowledge and guidance and continues to mentor me to this day. One thing I know for sure, I am doing what the good Lord made me to do.

Ashleigh is BY FAR the best Photographer I've ever hired. She did a calendar photoshoot for my fundraiser. She is wonderfully talented and every model felt so comfortable with her. She did a great job on their hair and makeup as well. I would definitely recommend her to anyone needing her services. A true professional!

I have had nothing but great experiences having Ashleigh do my photo shoots for me.she is Very professional and precise. She leaves no stone unturned. Amazing photographer. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I grew up with a father that was a professor of photography. So I guess you could say, I’ve had a personal teacher since the age of 6.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When researching different photographers, there a couple things to consider when deciding on whom to hire. 1. Personality! I know this sounds odd, but if a photographer doesn’t have a natural way about them that makes their clients feel comfortable in front of the camera, it will show in the photos. A phone call is usually enough to decide if that photographer is right for you. 2. Look at their work. Every photographer has their own personal style. Find someone that you feel will provide you with the quality of work you desire.
