Introduction: I have been baking and cooking since I was 7 years old. I have been in the food business for over 35 years and involved with Gluten Free for 14 years. All of the food that was provided was super fresh. Instructions for preparation were concise and easy to follow. Chef Penny is incredibly knowledgeable and its obvious when you eat her food. The things she can match I would never consider but now find the combinations coming up in my own cooking. Her interview process was very thorough. Excellent Chef!

We do not normally eat gluten free, but sailing some Tender Crust mixes proved to be very enlightening and we're quite tasty.

I cannot count how many meals Penny has prepared for me. But what I can say is that I enjoyed everyone of them. In full disclosure some drew me out of my comfort zone, and I was a bit apprehensive, however, even in those circumstances I was pleasantly surprised. I think she understood my taste better then I did. I would highly recommend Tender Crust.

Our experience with Penny was absolutely delightful. She was prompt and professional throughout the whole experience and very personable. She demonstrated and expressed her passion for cooking making our cooking class informative and enjoyable. We would gladly invite her back to our home for a future cooking session and plan to also use her for possible group cooking classes as well. She comes highly recommended by my husband and myself to anyone looking for a wonderful experience cooking and learning. Pleasantly surprised by the whole experience.

Pricing always depends on the customers needs.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to talk personally with a new client to access their food preferences, likes, dislikes, allergies and to get a feel for what they need from me in order to fit their expectations. Everyone is partial to favorite foods and different life styles and this is important when it comes to cooking for them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in 1986. I have been a certified chef for the past 30 years, have been a culinary instructor for 12 of those years, done food styling for movies, television, and cookbooks and have had had 3 food establishments with my husband who was also a professional chef. Having your own restaurant is the best training a chef can have.
