Introduction: I am an artist and teacher who specializes in Drawing and Painting as well as other art disciplines such as Collage, Paper/Book Arts and Clay Modeling. I can teach all ages and levels, from extreme beginner to advanced. As a teacher, my passion is giving people the tools to create and guiding them through the process, so they can find their own artistic voice. Nina taught a number of drawing, painting, and sculpture classes for my homeschooling group. Since our children were different ages, she planned a lesson for the older or more capable students as well as one for the younger students, and in that way she was able to accommodate several different age groups with the help of a supervising parent. Nina's thoughtful suggestions to each student brought out individual abilities, besides the basic skills that she addressed. She was particularly adept at bringing self-conscious and reluctant students into the art arena.

Nina is a very talented and sensitive artist. She is competent in several different media: oils, watercolors, charcoal, pencil drawings of scenery,portraits, birds and other outdoor scenes. She has also made paper, volunteered at the portrait museum in Washington, DC, as well as teaching art to different age students in a private school for a number of years. I feel fortunate to have several of her works on display in my home. She would be a valuable asset in many positions in the art world.

Nina did a pencil sketch of my three children for me. She sketched their three individual school pictures to look like one group picture. It is incredible! Beautifully done, and the sketch looks just like their pictures!!!
