FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing depends upon location, sessions per week and time. I do my best to accommodate people and their finances. I don't believe in a set rate, just as I don't believe in one universal fitness program. Needs of every client is different.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet in person with a fitness profile including nutritional and health evaluation. Introduce myself and give my background in health and fitness. Get to know their lifestyles, what their goals are and what they expect from me as their personal fitness trainer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I grew up in a home with a father that participated in Mr. Colorado body building shows (all natural) I was a very gifted athlete in many different sports, yet became a Colorado state champion swimmer at 12. Went on to regionals, nationals and junior olympics. I attended University of North Texas and worked in corporate America for a short time and decided to make a change in careers. I found that my love of fitness and people provided me with happiness you only receive when you do what you love. I was asked to become a trainer by my mentor at the age of 28. I have certifications from an accumulation of programs. I started my own private gym in Colorado after realizing many people didn't "want" or "like" the gym atmosphere. It was by appointment only. I worked one on one with my clients. I offered group trainings to the local police department as a development of brotherhood/sisterhood within the work environment. Both of my boys played league hockey and I was approached by their coach to dryland train the hockey teams. I did do so voluntarily to give back to the youth program.
