Introduction: Motivational talks require passion. My presentations inspire, enable and engage the audience into action by leveraging my personal experience as an immigrant farmworker who left the fields to proudly serve our country. 23 years of military service with combat experience in Iraq and Afghanistan and also a Professor of International Relations at West Point, U.S. Military Academy I connect the audience to the reality that no person is a victim nor are they defined by their current circumstance. Instead, I deliver a message that promotes individual empowerment to define the situation versus being defined and both valiant victory versus victim mentality.
Motivational talks are done in both English and in Spanish where they: inspire, enable and engage the audience.
Inspiring people to live up to their God given potential versus having them live down to other people's expectations.

You brought your teaching expertise and delivered a powerful message of how to build relationships with respect, empathy, and competence. The little things matter. Listening first, to hear someone's point of view, allowing yourself to frame your view so it can be hear and understood.
Also, not avoiding the challenge of being human, We all have faults, and others have strengths we do not.
Building a team and holding each other accountable can accomplish big things.
