- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Fees will vary based on the scope and complexity of the project, but typically fall into 3 ranges: 5-7% of the construction cost for a base level set of drawings required for permitting, 8-10% for a typical builder set of plans, and 11-13% for a full service package including fixture and finish selection.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We'll set up a meeting, preferably on site, to review the project, establish next steps, and just get to know each other a bit more. Good relationships are critical for good project outcomes!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Master of Architecture from Syracuse University, a Bachelor of Environmental Design from Texas A&M, and am a registered architect in multiple states. From bookcases and houses in Austin to tech offices and high-rise condos in New York City to opera facilities in Santa Fe, I've had the privilege of working across the country on an even wider variety of project types.
