- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Whenever I provide ongoing monthly services (Hosting, site upkeep, etc), I always include several hours of design time for the year. This way, if the user needs several small changes or even one major change, the design time is already built in, and doesn't cost them additional fees.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For web and social marketing customers, the absolute first thing I do is put together a free business online presence report. This report helps both myself and the owner see where they are and what needs improvement.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My first website was for my home church. I had so much fun building it, I continued to develop sites and added other marketing skills to my arsenal. I've always enjoyed marketing as a subject of research, so it was a work of passion to develop my skills.
