Roger J. Lucas graduated from Columbia University in the City of New York in 1996, receiving a Bachelors of Arts in Biological Sciences. He spent several years in academic research before being inspired to switch to law. After obtaining his J.D. from the Sturm College of Law at the University of Denver in 2007, he dedicated his career to providing indigent defense to the people of Colorado as a government lawyer.
For several years, Mr. Lucas has defended the Constitutional rights of thousands of people in the community. As a former government lawyer, he handled approximately 3000 cases and went to trial approximately 70 times, winning numerous favorable verdicts along the way.
