Introduction: Experience is the most important part of the water industry. I have over 20 years in the industry. I am a member of the WQA which is the Water Quality Association. Our company specializes in problem water applications which is normally well water, and we also specialize city water applications. Its important to understand the type of water your working with in order to recommend the correct application to take care of a specific problem or concern the customer may have. Years of experience allows Hydrotech water to recommend the correct system or application for the job!! Our goal is not to have just a happy customer, we want the customer to be Ecstatic with the performance and installation of their Hydrotech water system.

The more I reflect on my experience the more I feel like I was scammed. We agreed to have Tim come out and do regular maintenance on my water softner/filter. He barely even looked at them, tested the water, and said it's fine, they don't need cleaned. Then he went thru a whole sales presentation which I feel like is all he had intentions of from the start. I doubt he even brought tools to do the maintenance if my system really needed it. Long story short, I paid full price for him to give me a sales pitch. Lesson learned.

The customers system was working based on testing of the water coming through his water system. He was informed that the system was working according to manufacturers recommendations. Customer was also told there would be no charge for the call because his system was working and there was no service or work needed on his system. He said “no, I want to pay you for coming out” so I agreed he could pay for the trip charge or service call. Because his system was working fine based on the testing of the water, no servicing the equipment was needed and we didn’t want to service system if not necessary. Thank you.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We will meet or beat any price out there as long as it is a valid estimate from another company. Installation is included at no additional charge.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will need to set a appointment to test the water. The water test takes about 30 to 45 minutes. After the water test we write the installation order and set a install time that is best for the customer.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been through the water quality association or WQA training and am a certified water specialist. I also have 20 years in the water industry.
