Introduction: My company offers three main services. Before I go into my services let me say a little about myself. I work as a sole proprietor. I care for a mentally challenged child and as such it is best for me to do individual jobs. I hold a contractor license, certification in another professional trade (not covered on Thumbtack), as well as, provide DJ and Karaoke hosting services. Unfortunately Thumbtack is not set up to handle business that have more than one service. Therefore I offer an introduction in two parts My DJ/KJ services and my construction/handyman services.
Weddings are special. They require careful planning. When I agree to host a wedding, I know this is a once in a lifetime event. In the case of the reception, I seek to assure, that the wedding party has the rituals they want for the wedding, then also the guest have a good time. Having a good time in my mind means the room has areas where guest have a place to socialize and talk, there is an area where the music is more prominent for dancing, and at the same time there are time when guest want to speak and the sound system needs to make sure the person speaking is clearly heard among the guest. Typically at the end of these events there is a party atmosphere. Many times I use my skills as a night club DJ/ KJ to help people break the social wall to come out and have fun. Often the wedding party is overwhelmed with emotion of the days event to not really be in the mood to facilitate the role of being a party host. I step up an do my best to assure your guest enjoy themselves.
In the process of getting ready for a wedding it takes several meeting with the planners to understand the specific songs to be played. The general kinds of music to use for filler music so the room is filler with music before quest enter, during the event, and as the guest are leaving. As a professional singer, I offer karaoke as well as am capable of providing performances of most music. I do need to know in advance specific songs should the party want a special song performed live. I of course encourage guest to participate in karaoke should the wedding party want that service integrated into the event.
I take pride in the work my company provides. My construction service is an enhanced handyman service. It includes building a cemented dog run, water damage repair of siding, structural repair of decks, rails, closet remodels, commercial building exterior cleaning etc.
