- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes - we charge $18 per visit for a 20-25 minute visit. This is all-inclusive: walks, feeding, medications, litter scooping, play, cuddles, watering flowers, bringing in mail, etc. If you have additional tasks that take longer we would discuss a custom rate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Clients email or call requesting service, I will discuss with each customer services that we provide that would fit their pet's needs, then set up a meeting to meet in person!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My husband and co-owner, Aaron, and I started petsitting for friends of family in college to make extra money. I had worked for a veterinary office and a shelter, and he had grown up with four dogs, so we were kind of known as the "animal people." We realized after graduation that we loved taking care of peoples' animals much more than sitting at a desk and decided to see if we could make it work as our career. We feel extremely lucky that it has grown as much as it has.
