When my husband and I were still in the planning process of our wedding, we were victims of Fraud by our first wedding venue. This left us scrambling with a smaller budget to find a replacement venue at months notice. We were blessed to find a new venue but then just 4 months before our wedding, our DJ quit leaving us scrambling to find a new DJ with little time to do it. We reached out to Mixclusiv, emotionally drained from the ordeal and they swooped in, restored our faith in the wedding industry and provided STELLAR service. We completely left it in their hands and what they delivered was pure professionalism and wonderful music that had my family dancing all night! I cannot give enough praise about working with Mixclusiv. When we were at our lowest, they saved the day! Our family now has a "go-to" DJ for our family events!

Having heard David's work in lounges in Queens, NY I was super excited to hire him for my wedding. I was worried that my venue location in Princeton, NJ would be out of his area but with no hesitation, he said no problem. Another concern of mine was that I am not your cookie cutter bride...I love heavy metal music and although I didn't want it played at the wedding (for the sake of my grandma!) I wanted the music at the wedding to reflect who my fiance and I are as a couple. David was too happy to comply! He supplied a beautiful instrumental arrangement of a Metallica song for our ceremony, played beautiful acoustic metal songs for cocktail hour not to mention he and his team turned it way up for the party portion of the evening (salsa, house, top 40...everything we wanted!) At the end of the night, I was so tired, sweaty and just radiating happiness and Mixclusiv really played a huge role in that. I thank them a million times for providing both my guests and I with such a memorable evening. Even our hired bartender commented on how great he was! THANK YOU GUYS!!!!

David was great! We were kind of last minute in booking a DJ because we wanted to find someone that we could trust to play our playlists. We gave him playlists for cocktail hour and dinner, which were each in their own room so David had to extend the speakers to different areas of the building. For dancing we gave him a small list of songs but they killed it with their own stuff reading the crowd, which is exactly what you want. Multiple people asked us where we found the dj and my fiance's cousin may book them for her own upcoming wedding if they're available. We never saw them moving speakers around or anything, never had issues with volume. David always came over to chat when I had a question or request, etc. I paid them for another hour than originally contracted because everyone wanted to keep dancing. He had met me at the venue weeks before because it was a museum not really a venue and I thought he should see the spaces before determining what to bring. Thank you for making it something I didn't have to think about!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Standard Packages are available ranging from our economy "Bronze" package which is best suited for block parties, or very small gatherings -- all the way up to our "Platinum" package which is best suited for high-end weddings and Sweet 16's. We can also customize a package specifically for your event, should our existing packages not meet your precise needs.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually, when a customer contacts us, we will ask our customers to complete a quick questionnaire online or by phone. The responses to these questions will tell us more about the customers event, and allow us to provide the most accurate price quote. (For leads received via Thumbtack, the quoted price will be honored even if we determine that you need upgraded sound or lighting after completing the questionnaire!) The next step will be to schedule an optional face-to-face meeting with the customer to go over the details of their event. An online contract will be generated, and once it is signed and a deposit is received, the date will be reserved.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our DJ's have years of life experience as musicians, audio technicians, and performers. We have all been working as a team for over 10 years, which brings a flow to our events that only time can create. Additionally, we attend DJ trade shows and seminars regularly to stay on top of the current trends in mobile DJing and Weddings.
