Introduction: We take pride in our work and make quality our priority. I personally have 30 years experience and I am on site and working hands on the majority of the time which insures that my own high standards are met.
I started out in construction working in a cabinet shop and then as a member of a residential framing crew in college. After college I worked for a general contractor doing residential remodeling and gained my wide range of experience .After that I went back to framing running my own crew and eventually turned back to residential remodeling.
In the last 30 years I think I have just about done it all, including much more than I have listed here ! We do general repairs; however, our favorite thing to do is build and create !
I enjoy making my customers visions and hopes come true and being able to meet so many great people along the way. At the end of the day I, along with my employees, really enjoy looking over the diffetence we have made in just that one day.

Wanted to hire Alan to cleanup downed limbs, mulch leaves, and clean/repair gutters. He agreed to come by this past Saturday to see the yard and negotiate an ongoing price for lawn service the rest of the summer. Told me he would be there by 12 pm. About 1hr before I called to confirm 12 pm and he said it would be later. Explained to him I had things to do for my disabled mom whom I live with and didn't want tI be stuck all day waiting. He said I would have a couple of hrs to go do what I nreed to do. Got home called him again and he said it would be 7 pm before he could come. 7pm came and went. Called again and no answer. Waited few minutes called and again no answer. Sent a text concerned and he said he just got home. I found it very unprofessional to not even call me and say he couldn't come that day. I would have been fine with that. Pushing the time back, not answering my calls, and not professional enough to call me made my decision not to hire him easy. I needed a dependable, honest, and professional person for the job. Luckily an old friend contacted me on Facebook after I turned to social media for help. He went above and beyond just the yard cleaning and cutting. Would never hire from thumb tack and I have made sure all my social media steers clear of Alan Goldfarb.

I tried to work Amy into my schedule and help her out and I am vey sorry I was unable to. Originally she only wanted some limbs picked up as she was going to purchase a riding mower and mow the yard herself. I spoke to her at noon and informed her of the fact I was having trouble with equipment,was off of my schedule badly, offered to try and contact some one else to get by for her, and let her know I could make her my last stop if she wanted. She said she was fine with being my last stop, pressed for a time, and also, let me know she was reconsidering the purchase of a new mower. I let Amy know at that time it would be "around" 7 pm when I got by as there is no way to give an exact time when you are trying to work someone in that is not an existing customer and that I could only look at the job at that time. At 7:30 I received a text from Amy stating I had wasted her day and it was too late for me to do anything for her. She stated she could have picked the sticks up herself even though she had earlier told me she was on leave from work due to a back injury and couldn't pick up the sticks. She also threatened to call the police and BBB on me. I responded politely to her and even offered to try and pick up a riding mower for her since she couldn't find anyone to. She calmed down and wished me and my business success. Now I see this review and wish I had never spoke to her to begin with as she seems to have way too much stress in her life and is looking for someone to lash out at. I hope her life gets better and others don't have to suffer from her poor attitude.
