Joy did a wonderful job accommodating the number of guests that we had at our wedding. She did not leave any guests without a caricature! She was easy to contact and always responded to our questions and concerns in a timely manner. It was a unique addition to our wedding and the guests enjoyed having something of their own to bring home with them. We would highly recommend Joy at your next event!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My standard hourly fee is $125 per hour. Pricing for gift caricatures may be found on my website.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started drawing caricatures when I was a junior in high school. I got my foot in the door by working at Darien Lake for several years. After I completed high school I traveled to Busch Gardens in Tampa Florida to work there as a caricature artist. While in Florida, I was presented with the opportunity to work under several extremely skilled artists. It was there that I developed my own technique and signature style. When I returned to New York I decided to start my own business working festivals and private parties. I now continue to work as a full-time caricature artist in the Buffalo/ Rochester area.
